Increased attendance for the fifth year
The second day of Harrogate Christmas & Gift has proved fruitful for exhibitors and visitors alike with brisk business reported by companies participating. The number of buyers attending has once again increased compared to the first two days of the 2015 show and with two more days to go, looks likely to reap another good increase in attendance.
If you’re planning to come to the show on Tuesday or Wednesday there are many fabulous new products throughout the halls to grab your attention. Lows on Stand A26 has launched a range of new Classic Lanterns with different metal finishes which look stunning with either real or artificial tea lights; as well as a rustic range of Glenweave basketware.
Vivid Arts on Stand QS1, which has been popular at the show for several years with its award-winning indoor and outdoor ornaments has unveiled its new, highly collectible Miniature World which is guaranteed to capture the imaginations of both young and old. Also in the Queen’s Suite is new exhibitor ‘this, that and everything else’ with beautiful handcrafted lac-turned wooden ornaments from Channaptna in India with everything from candle holders and tree decorations to quality nativity scenes.
With the launch of well over 100 new products this year, Bonnington Plastics has increased its exhibiting space in Hall D with visitors flocking to its stand to view the company’s brand new look with traditional themes and many new items such as Santa sacks and stockings, fibre optic trees, inflatables and many plush items. Sergio Tartaglia, sales director, comments: “We have had a great show so far with lots of new business today. Our new animated products are proving particularly popular as they are ideal for dressing windows and creating eye-catching displays to draw in customers.” Bonnington’s is also offering discounts on pre-season orders placed at the show and special one-off promotions.
Desktop Trading, also in Hall D, is well worth a look with its selection of festive snowing machines guaranteed to make a show-stopping feature in any room with ‘snowing’ lamp posts, Christmas trees and even snow dancing penguins!
We look forward to seeing you today and tomorrow – allow plenty of time to walk the halls as the 2016 event is bigger and better this year than ever before!
