Harrogate Christmas & Gift Moves to May Show
Harrogate Christmas & Gift, the UK’s leading trade show for the festive goods and gifts industry, has moved its date from January to May in response to the pandemic and is now open Stand bookings. The event takes place at the Harrogate Convention Centre from Sunday 9th to Tuesday 11th May 2021.
The show is usually in January catering to the requirements of the Christmas decorations industry but is widely attended by buyers from numerous sectors including garden centres, independent and multiple gift stores, tourist and visitor attractions shops, and cathedral and heritage centres to name just a few. These are generally seeking not only decorations for Christmas, but gifts and impulse purchases to tempt customers the entire year-round.
Simon Anslow, show organiser, explains: “Because of the diversity of visitors to the show, the products on offer reflect this. We have companies exhibiting everything from ornaments and gifts for the home, garden and outdoors; food and confectionery; as well as novelties and decorations for other occasions such as, etc. Once the pandemic is under control the demand for these types of products will no doubt increase and retailers and buyers will be keen to see the latest new ranges the industry has to offer.”
