With the recent blusters of snow across the UK, the big debate is what are the chances of a white Christmas in 2024? According to the Met Office, it can only accurately forecast if snow is on the cards five days before. Technically, the last white Christmas was in 2023 in the UK with 11 percent of Met Office stations recording snow falling – allow none actually reported snow lying on the ground.
For a bit of fun, the website www.willigetawhitechristmas.com attempts to forcast whether your town will get snow at Christmas. According to the website, Harrogate has just a 25% chance of snow this year!
