Exhibitor Quotes

“After a three year absence from Christmas & Gift Harrogate, it was a pleasure to be back exhibiting in the newly reorganised Hall A. Nobody really knew what reaction there would be from buyers to the new hall layout. It proved to be a huge success for Krebs Glas Lauscha, the footfall through the hall was constant and the quality of buyer that visited our stand and placed orders was most encouraging. Despite the current economic climate there seemed to be a positive vibe around the fair and where some of our clients had maybe lost some late summer trade as the credit crunch kicked in, the Christmas trade remained strong and customers were reporting excellent sell through of our products. Well done for the excellent marketing campaign prior to the event, this surely helped to make it a success. See you next year!!”

Visitor Quotes

“The Harrogate Christmas and Gift Fair is a crucial part of our early year planning and buying. Being able to complete all our Christmas buying at Harrogate in January, means we have more time for everyday gift buying at Spring Fair. All the big name Christmas suppliers are present at Christmas and Gift, so it represents an incredibly effective use of time.”
Mike Adams
Managing Director
Temptation Gifts Ltd

“The Harrogate Christmas Fair is our favourite show of the year. The atmosphere is fantastic; a mixture of friendliness and excitement that is just not replicated at any other show. The lovely town of Harrogate is an added bonus and a great place to catch up with trade friends.”
Sally Cornelissen

“Reindeer Place found the 2011 Christmas and Gift excellent! As ever, people were extremely helpful throughout our visit, and we certainly found it easier to get around this year. We've also found new suppliers, so all good for Reindeer Place. We are really looking forward to the next event.”

“I use it to gauge colours, themes for the season.”

“The Harrogate Christmas and Gift Show is easily the most pleasant exhibition experience in the buying year. The show is focused and compact yet very relaxed. Our accommodation is excellent and reasonably priced. Our evenings in the local hostelries are fun-filled and friendly.
Orders may well be processed at a later date, but very often if the supplier isn't at Harrogate they may well never appear on the radar.”
Steve Ainscough
Birkacre Garden Centre

“With Christmas still fresh in our minds, the Harrogate Christmas and Gift Show is the ideal venue to see the best of the new product ranges for the following festive season.”
