It's Official - Winter is here!
We have been treated to incredibly mild weather in recent months, however today (Sunday 21st December) is Winter Solstice and officially the first day of winter.
Let's hope that the weather remains kind for at least the next few weeks, as while we all enjoy a white Christmas, travelling on treacherous roads to visit family and friends over the holidays isn't a fun prospect for anyone. Also, with Harrogate Christmas & Gift just four weeks away - we have put in a special Christmas request for mild weather, congestion free roads and trouble-free public transport! Don't forget to visit the How to get there page to check out your travel options. There are direct trains running to Harrogate from London and flights with BA from Heathrow to Leeds Bradford airport are just £48 each way.
The Harrogate Christmas & Gift team would like to wish you all a Very Merry Christmas!

Setting the trend
Heaven Sends is a leading wholesaler of unique and quirky, design-led gifts and seasonal decorations and hot for Christmas 2015 is 'Midnight Splendour' - a chic black and gold collection with an appealing cute twist in the detailing, making it immensely desirable to retailers and customers alike. Mix it with the traditional gold look of 'Glitz' or 'Sparkle' to add another dimension to this extraordinary theme.
The strongest theme for next season sees 'Vintage Maison' (the long standing French shabby chic trend, moving towards a cleaner less distressed look - a 'Modern Vintage' trend to tie in with a more contemporary uncluttered lifestyle, but still exhibiting a strong nostalgic feel with creams predominate.
