Bumper attendance at Christmas & Gift
With just one day to go, Harrogate Christmas & Gift reports another increase in visitors for the fourth year running with numbers already up five percent compared to 2014.
Exhibitors are reporting a bumper event, with many taking a record number of orders and comments to the organisers such as; ‘sales up dramatically on last year,’ and ‘our most successful trade show in years.’
Johan Frölich of Jette Frölich Design said: “We’ve had lots of new and returning customers this year and are pleased that many buyers who have perused our products here in the past, have placed orders with us for the first time. We are delighted to have received orders from some of the larger garden centre chains and have taken more orders overall in three days than we did for the entire show last year.”
Retailers and buyers appear to be spending more time at the show too. Mandy Bromwhich from the The Watermill Experience, Barton le Clay has attended for three days and comments: “I come to Harrogate Christmas & Gift every year and have found some really nice new ranges again. I’m particularly interested in new colour ways and love the new copper theme as well as the welcome return of black and white product ranges. Among my favourite items at the show so far are the new lit canvasses – these always sell really well.”
Tomorrow is the last chance to come along and see some great new products for all occasions – Christmas, Halloween, in fact every notable date in the calendar year. The show is open from 9am until 4pm – full details on this website.
