Each to their own

Whilst we here in the UK are looking forward to decking our halls with boughs of holly and peeling Brussels sprouts to go with our turkey, our friends around the world have some very different Christmas traditions.

For example, in Norway on Christmas Eve there is no cleaning and all brooms are hidden away in case they are stolen by witches and evil spirits; whilst in Estonia families traditionally head for the sauna. Also, whilst English children leave their stockings for Santa on Christmas Eve (and receive a lump of coal if they’ve been naughty), Icelandic children do even better leaving a shoe on their windowsills during the 12 days of Christmas which is filled each night with sweets and gifts!

Families around the world will be celebrating the festive season – however that may be – and Harrogate Christmas & Gift has everything they could possibly need to make sure it’s a totally joyous occasion.

Inspired by flowers

Jette Frölich has a tradition of introducing new collections at the Christmas Exhibition and in the 2016 collection it introduces a new and exclusive product line.  The theme for the collection is the Flower girl, available in gold plated 18 Ct. and in Sterling silver. The inspiration for the Flower girl comes from Jette Frölich’s childhood memories and symbolises the mother surrounded by her flowers.

These beautiful braided gold and silver hearts featured in the image are also a part of the new and exclusive product line. The company also introduces a new porcelain line in 2016 made from porcelain and bone china and a new tea light with the Flower girl and flowers, available in both gold and silver.

Not just for Christmas

Premier Decorations is renowned for its extensive range of Christmas products, but don’t forget to view its new 2016 Garden & Outdoor Living and Halloween ranges too.

Visitors to Harrogate Christmas & Gift are invited to speak with members of the Garden & Outdoor Living Team to secure their Summer products. Although the whole range won’t be on show, this is a good opportunity to make those last minute top up orders.  For Halloween you will be spoilt for choice from giant inflatable spiders and pumpkins to life-sized battery operated spooky creatures in numerous shapes and forms. One of the company’s best-selling ranges in 2015 has been make-up – probably because it is the best quality on the market. Fully tested to EN71 cosmetic regulations make this a first choice particularly when using with children.
